Invitation
Welcome to the Proteomic Forum 2011 in Berlin
Sunday, April 3 to Thursday, April 7, 2011
Freie Universität Berlin
Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the Organizing Committee it is a great pleasure to invite you to the Proteomic Forum 2011. Again, the Proteomic Forum will bring together leading experts from all over the world and provide a critical mass in proteomics technologies, molecular and cellular proteomics as well as clinical proteomics. Join us to enjoy great science and Berlin, the exciting capital of Germany bridging Western and Eastern Europe.
The conference will start with an educational workshop on Sunday, introducing newcomers to basic proteomic techniques and analytical strategies, and updating experts on the latest developments in proteomics technologies and data handling. Informal evening sessions will help to discuss individual open questions with experts in the field. Scientific sessions with a decent share of presentations selected from submitted abstracts will cover specific thematic areas in proteomics. A poster session will provide the opportunity to present the latest results from your lab.
Proteomic Forum 2011 will provide insight into the most recent advances in proteomics technologies, imaging, bioinformatics, post-translational modifications, quantitative approaches, biomarker discovery and disease, cellular and subcellular proteomics, organelles and membranes, plant- and microbial proteomics, affinity- and functional proteomics, signalling as well as systems biology. The conference will also focus on applications and commercialization in research, diagnostics and therapy. An industry exhibition will present the latest products in proteomics technologies.
You are cordially invited by the German Society of Proteome Research and the Institute for Chemistry and Biochemistry at the Freie Universität Berlin. We look forward to seeing you!
