A small fund may be available for supporting participants from Eastern Europe who otherwise may find themselves unable to come. If this applies to you, write the local organiser (hbes2004@med.uni-marburg.de) as soon as possible. After receipt of payment of the registration fees, you will receive a written confirmation (e-mail) from CTW. All amounts are payable in Euro. All bank charges must be paid by the participant. Please quote the name of the participant on every giro transfer form. For summary payment orders, please enclose a list of names. The congress fees can also be paid by credit card. Visa and Euro-/Mastercard will be accepted. Only transfers until July 15th, 2004 can be accepted. Later payments have to be made on-site at the registration desk.

Cancellations received before May 31st, 2004 will be refunded less 50%. Cancellations received after this date will not entitle to any refund. Accommodation For information on accommodation in Berlin please consult www.berlin.de, choose the British flag for English and choose "visiting Berlin", then "online hotel guide"; the "advanced search" will give you the possibility to specify the location (target area is SOUTH, choose Steglitz/Zehlendorf). At several hotels a number of rooms has been reserved for participants of HBES 2004 at a special conference rate: Hotels/ HBES 2004 (21.–25.07.04) (special rates apply Wednesday to Sunday, booking on request, prices per night, incl. breakfast and VAT)
Please note that beyond the organisers have no contract with these hotels and that you have to make all accommodation and payment arrangements directly with the hotel.
