Member Initated Meetings and Events outside the main program

HBES members planning to organise meetings outside the main scientific program – workshops, round tables, seminars and the like – should send a short description of what they have in mind to the local organiser Ulrich Mueller at the University of Marburg, E-Mail: hbes2004@med.uni-marburg.de.

Please note that symposium session/panel proposals, which are part of the scientific program, have to be made in the usual way as described on the Call for Papers page. Give the number of people you expect to come for your meeting, and indicate the technical equipment you need. For the latter you may be charged a fee. Also give your preferences regarding day and time, but allow for some flexibility.

The local organiser, after consultation with the program chair, will offer a room and will tell you, what you may have to pay extra for the technical equipment you want to have. Please note that these member initiated meetings are not passed through the regular abstract submission and review process and will only be mentioned by their titles in the program.
